You'll find Siracusa's most famous pastry shop right in the heart of town, "Pasticceria Corsino" has a reputaion going back generations as famous bakers of delicious local Sicilian pasteries, bread baked on the premised, wines, confectionary and also offering some beautiful ceramics from local artists.

People come from all over to sample the delicious pastries baked right on these premises.

The younger generation and owners of this establishment have refurbisherd the entire 8th century building and have added three newly and individually renovated accommodations on the third floor; two are suites, being Suite Aretusa and Apartment Artemide; whilst Artemide is an apartment on the same floor.

Nothing has been spared with these tastefully appointed renovations; a modern touch whilst still retaining the Sicilian charm and color scheme in these suites and apartment, which are bright and spacious.

Here in the heart of this warm and friendly baroque town you'll find Studio Archimede, one of the three accommodations.

The studio is bright and spacious, with a small foyer featuring a wrought iron bench and matching easy chairs - leading to a welcoming double bedroom in satin furnishings of green and beige - staying with the colours of the region.

There's also a sofa bed for one person and a richly green tiled bathroom with a tub and shower.

The rich wooden furniture adds a homely atmosphere to Suite Archimede and there is space to add a double sofa bed for another two people.

This is an ideal location for exploring the town and its history, whilst sampling some of the fine foods mouthwatering Sicilian dishes in the many restaurants and outdoor eateries that line these ancient streets.

Together with Suite Arteusa and Apartment Artemide the three areas can sleep up to fourteen people.
